About Me

Hi I have seen your profile name on numerous occasions on Geocaching.com and I am also interested in motorcycling, (a friend of mine is a member of Rusty Nuts)

I do not have a bike at the moment but hopefully within the next couple of weeks :-)

See you on the road some time

About Me

Event organiser for Rusty Nuts M/c .

Im always amazed at the dedication of the riders on RNMC events - truely the creme de la creme of New Zealand riders.

Live by the motto: "If you think you can, or you think you can't,  you are correct."

You will never find how far you can go untill you reach the limit of what you have done before and then start to push.

Riders who wear the Super Tour Patch have the best bragging rights. They went there, then went past, they did that, and then did more.

You guys make organising stuff all worth while.

RidSafe.

About Me

Discovered geocaching a few years back and love the opportunities to discover new place it has given me. Have travelled quite a bit overseas and one day when my work is done would love to spend some time travelling around N.Z.

About Me

I Joined the Australian Navy as a young 16 year old and been riding bikes on and off (between cars) since 1971. I used to ride from my different ships based in Sydney NSW - to my home in Perth WA and back again - a long trip by one's self but I reckon I've done the crossing of Australia about 10 times now on a Bike - mostly by myself...I'm Currently riding a Yamaha XVS( Classic model) 1100cc and just love roaring through the Perth hills most days - now retired so have plenty of time for biking these days. I Retired from the RAN in 1993 as a Chief petty Officer (Anti Submarine Warfare Specialist) and the wife and I ran a hobby farm way down South in Western Australia for many years about 150 Kls North of Albany - check your Australian Atlas ha.... I worked on 2 different farms (at different times) and run a petrol servo for 18 months on weekends as the relief Manager Plus - drove trucks, Back Hoes, Front End Loaders and John Deere Graders for the local Shire when I worked for them for 7 years on a full time basis -  before going back to playing farmer on my neighbours property for the last 5 years of my active working life.

Nowdays - I just loving being retired and living the quiet life between the house - going away on trips with the wife, and our female Golden Retriever called AMBA (currently 16 months old) with our 20 foot caravan and when I'm not doing those things - riding my beloved Yamaha 1100cc Classic around the highways and byways of Perth WA.

Next love would be to buy a Yamaha XVS 1300cc "Classic" - the local Yamaha dealership "loaned" me a bike whilst they done the 10,000Kls service on mine. The buggers gave me a XVS 1900cc Yamaha to ride around on - oh man - what a great machine......however - I'll have a battle up hill just thinking about getting the wife to let me upgrade to another machine ha ha
